Entry #2 Devils bridge trail

Devils bridge is a fairly easy hiking trail. My best friend and i were the ones to go to this hike.  It is located in Sedona Very rocky, but also green. It was slight uphill but the view was crazy beautiful. I loved it! It was just a straight shot to the bridge. It was slightly scary walking across the bridge at first but then it wasn't to bad. It was more towards end of the summer we did this hike. It was sunny but not super hot that day. Hikes are something i really like doing just because i do like outdoors but also covid was a thing; and sometimes you just needed to get out. I enjoyed this hike it was one of my best hikes. Only because that was one of the first hikes i went on with my best friend of 4 years.

Hiking with your best friend is one of your best experiences. We were laughing, having a good time, deep talks, and just making memories. We had matching sunglass and just being ourselves. We were both pretty outdoor girls, we went camping, going to lakes, and hikes. Devil3As Bridge Trail Is where is all began. We were the type of girls that likes to stay active and fit. During the summers we did not have many practices especially during covid time. We thought it would be a good idea to start hiking, even just going on walks, Even though we should have been social distancing from each other we were out on hikes. Like i said that trail was very easy but we ended up starting to advance ourselves. We even ended up getting hiking gear. I would say these hiking trips became a weekly activity we would do, even if that meant just going to thunderbird mountain sometimes. It started to become harder to go hiking every week because of school and work but hiking was a big part of my life during 2020.

Overall hiking was one the best choices i made. During covid it was hard all the time feeling cooped up in the house. Trying new things can end in a good result and it did for me. I am glad at i had my best friend at the time because we always had a good time together. Hiking devils bridge was one of my best experience and has taught me a lesson to try new things!

  2. It is quite amazing how you were able to take something as horrible as the Covid-19 experiences and come out of it with such a unique and amazing hobby! What hiking gear did you invest to? I remember buying a nice backpack and a sleeping bag when I first got interested in to camping. Also, you must have a pretty amazing friend to go with you on these adventures! I hope you and your best friend are still doing well. Take care, Chris.
