Entry #3 Sweet and soft
Testing days. As weird as it might sound but opening this package bring me back to those testing days. The way it feels in my mouth just gives me anxiety. The freshness in my mouth makes me feel tingly. This sweet treat has always given me comfort and anxiety. This specific goodie has always been given to me on those test days you have in middle school. Those lengthy hard days, where you would fall asleep on top of your desk. When i was in middle school i remember these small treats being given out to us. The ones i remember that were given out were a green, fresh, savory flavored. My favorite was always the sweet, red and white stripped treat. So soft and just melts in your mouth while you are chewing it.
When, I said testing days gave me Anxiety i wasn't only talking about the test itself. I was also talking about the fun and yummy treat we received was loud. Not only loud chewing it but the wrapping paper. I mean we would sit there in a silent class and all we could hear is crackling, a little bit of a grinding sound, and the sound of another student hushing you. The green, stripped, crunchy, and spicy ones, I felt was the loudest for me. When i would go to open that package it just slips out the hand and hits the desk making a loud thump noise, then everyone turns around to look at you. Then immediately after that noise is made my face turns bright red from the embarrassment.
Overall, My favorite snack on a testing day is the sweet , soft, stripped, sugary goodness. These specifically helped me through the hard testing days. Even though, opening these in specific gave me more anxiety then the test , they are still my favorite. My moms notes with all the snacks i got was something that also helped me through those days and something i will always remember. Everyone needs some engouemint from their mom!

You aren't the only who associates mints with testing days. Good start with using sensory details to describe this experience. Keep pushing yourself!
